My best friend had a boyfriend
Due to issues never settled
The relationship ended.

They have a daughter so cute and cuddly
Her smiles are a beauty
Yet she's young and innocent
And may not know this kind of settlement
But I hope one day she sees
This kind of story with too much feels.

I may suck at poetry but at least the will to try still lives in me. :)
